Self-Service Respite has now expanded to RCEB...

Beginning October 1, the Self-Service program will begin serving clients from the Regional Center of the East Bay- those families who live in Contra Costa and Alameda counties.

New Staff!

We're sorry to say that Program Coordinator Annie Clark has left the building... however, she will continue with our agency as a Respite Care Provider!  In her place, we have hired Matthew Borden.  We are thrilled to have him as the new Program Coordinator.  He has already started and is doing an excellent job- in both English and Spanish!

Do you know anyone looking for a job?

We are currently hiring for new Respite Care Providers who live in Sonoma and Napa counties.  They must be over 18, have a driver's license, have a car, no felonies/misdemeanors, and be willing to drive at least 20 miles.

CPR/FA reminder

Remember that ALL Respite Care Providers are required by the state to have current certification in CPR and First Aid.  When you receive your first reminder letter, please call the office to enroll into a class.  Do not wait until the last minute when you are close to being fired!  When you call the office, ask to speak with a CPR/FA instructor.

Telephone Numbers and Addresses:

All Respite Care Providers (from both our respite programs) MUST keep a current phone number and address on file with the office.  This policy also applies to our client families.  so, the next time you change your number or move, please call the office and let us know!

Finder's Fee:

If you are an Agency Respite Care Provider and you recommend someone else to become one, you may be eligible for a finder's fee!  Once that person signs their hiring agreement, you get a $25 bonus.  When that person has completed their 50 hour probation period, you will get a $75 bonus!
