Office Holidays:

The Bay Respite Care office will be closed the following day:

Monday, September 1, 2008  Labor Day

Program Name Changes:

We have changed the names of our two respite programs.  Don't worry- we did not change our company!  We only changed the names of our two programs.  They were called Agency respite and Employer of Record respite.  Agency respite has become Full-Service respite and Employer of Record has become Self-Service respite.  We feel that these names better reflect the types of respite these two programs provide.  On November 1 we will stop using the old names all together.  If you have any questions about this change, please feel free to call and ask.

New Services through Agency (Full-Service) Respite:

We are excited to announce that Bay Respite Care has been approved for Epi-Pen and Inhaler/Nebulizer respite.  Currently, our Agency (Full-Service) Respite Care Providers have only been able to administer oral/topical medications and g-tube feedings.  Now, through a special vendorization, our Agency Respite Care Providers can administer an Epi-Pen and/or an Inhaler and Nebulizer in an emergency situation.  Employer of Record (Self-Service) Respite Care Providers cannot use a g-tube/Epi-Pen/Inhaler/Nebulizer on their clients.

Telephone Numbers and Addresses:

All Respite Care Providers (from both our respite programs) MUST keep a current phone number and address on file with the office.  This policy also applies to our client families.  so, the next time you change your number or move, please call the office and let us know!

Finder's Fee:

If you are an Agency Respite Care Provider and you recommend someone else to become one, you may be eligible for a finder's fee!  Once that person signs their hiring agreement, you get a $25 bonus.  When that person has completed their three month probation period, you will get a $75 bonus!
