Who can be my Respite Care Provider?
We can hire anyone who meets these requirements:
The first step in becoming a Respite Care Provider is receiving a Hiring Packet. A complete set of directions is included in the Hiring Packet. Once they receive the packet, they fill out and return the necessary paperwork. The employee also schedules a CPR/First Aid class with us. If they did not turn in copies of their ID and Social Security Card with their hiring packet, they MUST bring their ID and Social Security Card to the CPR/First Aid class. At the end of class, they will sign their Hiring Agreement. They are now ready to work!
Please note: You are responsible for recruiting/finding new Respite Care Providers. Bay Respite Care does not have registry or pool of workers from which you can choose a new worker.
