Who can be my Respite Care Provider?

We can hire anyone who meets these requirements:

They must be at least 18 years old

Be eligible to work in the United States (and provide proof of eligibility to work in the USA)

Have no felony convictions
-
Obtain/maintain CPR and First Aid certification

NOT be the client's primary caregiver/legal guardian/step-parent
-
They also must be willing to go through our hiring process
In order to be employed, the Respite Care Provider complete the following steps:
- Complete the hiring packet (directions are included)
- Pass a background check with NO FELONIES (no exceptions)
- Sign a hiring agreement
- Obtain CPR & First Aid certification
Please note: You are responsible for recruiting/finding new Respite Care Providers. Bay Respite Care does not have registry or pool of workers from which you can choose a new worker.
